Staff from the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site present “Dig Into Reading”, a special kids-friendly activity to learn about archaeological artifacts and preservation of historic sites. Be sure to visit the Herkimer Community Museum while you are at the library! The museum is open from 11-2 and contains many exciting exhibits on paleontology and Egyptology. It is located in the same building as the Basloe Library.
