Come visit us on Saturday, February 1st and help celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day.” Now in its third year, this annual event is held nation-wide on the first Saturday in February. We hope you’ll join us for a special visit with local children’s book author Alicia Klepeis in the Community Room from 11am to noon. Alicia will share crafts, and activities to go along with her newly published book about Africa. Families may also stop by the library anytime between 10am and 1pm to make a craft for Groundhog Day, help with our “What We Love About Our Library” display, and enjoy a snack courtesy of the Friends of the Library. If you need a library card, or are thinking of getting one for your child, this is a great time to sign up!
